Professional Development Academy (17-20): At the level of the Professional Development Academy (PDA), male and female players will be selected for their quality and potential to play at the higher levels of the game. Players graduating from our U16 Elite Youth program will form the core of the group and will be complemented in the summer by selected collegiate and other talented players. These players will have the opportunity to play in top Showcase tournaments (e.g., Umbro Cup, Score at the Shore), the USL Super-20 League as well as the OCSL Mens and Womens Premier Divisions. Players in the PDA should have aspirations to train and play with the PDL and W-League teams. (LTPD Stage: Training to Compete)

"We have decided that it is in the clubs best interest to invest our time and effort in players who have the potential to play with our W-League and PDL teams and beyond. In order to best prepare the players for the next level, we feel that it is necessary to offer a comprehensive and intensive program, which will be challenging for the players. The PDA will serve this need", Dom Oliveri, Technical Director, Girls.

"For players who have aspirations to play at the highest levels, this is the place to be in Ottawa," PDA Boys Head Coach, Jason Da Costa.

About the Super-20 League
About the OCSL

Founded in 1999, the Super Y-League is dedicated to the progression of future professional players. Averaging 700 teams since 2004, the Super Y-League has steered the course for development of elite clubs, players, and coaches. Affiliated with US Soccer, the Super Y-League ODP Program has opened countless doors for players to be identified for U.S. National Team Programs. The Super Y-League contains the youth academies of Major League Soccer clubs, USL PRO clubs, Premier Development League and W-League clubs. The league also serves clubs looking to develop the game from the ground up. Top youth academies such as Weston FC, Mass Premier Soccer and TSF Academy have been members of the league for several seasons. USL’s Super Y-League has revolutionized youth player development in North America.

The Ottawa Carleton Soccer League (OCSL) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development and enjoyment of soccer in the National Capital Region. Founded in 1978, 2012 marks the 34rd season of the OCSL. The League is comprised of about 400 adult teams from 57 soccer clubs, competing in 35 different categories based on age and level of play. The OCSL is proud to have amongst its alumni, members of our men's and women's national teams as well as students who have earned athletic scholarships to play while pursuing post-secondary education. More importantly, since its inception, the League has provided a safe and healthy activity for tens of thousands of people in the region, aiding in the development of team skills and contributing to a healthy lifestyle.
